- Why not?
- Did you use static or DHCP?
- If you log on to the router providing Wi-Fi, do you see a a wireless 
connection or a new device?

The Debian installer, is fully accessible with speech and braille support.

I also add that, the Pie image is not Debian, you should ask help there.

As frustrated as it is, sometime you can not avoid getting sighted help.

Prepare the image in a VM then use that image on the Pie.

The likely issue is that the wireless connection is not working properly.
