Hi,
I downloaded diald-1.0 2 days back. Then I untarred it and configured it
using command,
#./configure
Then I did make and got the following error.
#make
gcc -g -O2 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.
-DDIALD_CONFIG_FILE=\"/usr/local/etc/diald.conf\"
-DDIALD_DEFS_FILE=\"/usr/local/lib/diald/diald.defs\"
-DRUN_PREFIX=\"/usr/local/var/run\" -c -o diald.o diald.c
diald.c: In function `main':
diald.c:192: `CLK_TCK' undeclared (first use in this function)
diald.c:192: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
diald.c:192: for each function it appears in.)
make: *** [diald.o] Error 1

What can i do about it?
I have now installed an rpm for diald, but i would like to get tar file
working.

I have a linux box which I want to keep permanently connected using dial-up.
I want diald to restart the connection in case it dies out. Can it be done?
Can someone send me a sample diald.conf for a similar suitation?
Thanks a lot in advance and eagerly waiting for the replies.
Bye.
-Payal
