Hi, excuse me for the bad English... I use linux since cca 2004, and my
preferred distro was the loved GoboLinux. The latest release very-very old,
on that score now I use Ubuntu in place of gobo. But I would like a new
Gobo... Now I have a oldies laptop, a Lenovo ThinkPad T60, with 60 GB HDD,
with Ubuntu 11.10. This not have enough place for Gobo. But I have a 32 GB
pendrive. I want try to install the Gobo to this pendrive, and
modernize/update/upgrade it! This is a very BIG work for me, because I not
have enough knowledge about this themes:

- compile kernel
- how can I write good recipes (I not know how work the configure and make
programs...)
- how the new Grub works
- how can I install the GoboLinux to pendrive. (but I already succeeded
install ArchLinux to pendrive)

Please to this work/project all helps of other GoboLinux users! First, need
a new kernel with GoboHide patch. I not know, how can patching kernel...

The work would be easier, if Hisham or Lucas would prepare an entirely
minimal, only commandline release, in which there is not something else,
only the kernel and the most fundamental programs, and need use Grub2. (But
should work all of the Gobo-scripts, for ekzample Compile). This could be
next for the community to expand. I cannot write GoboHide kernelpatch...
This minimal Gobo not need have own installer, enough in a rar or zip or
tar.bz2 or other compressed file the full system (for i686 32 bits
architecture), because this is only a experimental (pre-Alpha...) version
for the advanced users/developers.

What is your opinion?
