little help pls for the wifi connection

Hello gobo-users, i think this is most likely PEBKAC error, but i not have
enough knowledge in the networking, especially in the wifi...

I compiled new kernel to the old (04.01) GoboLinux distro, and recompiled
the wireless-tools. Now I live in a hotel (here i work, but not with
computers), and can connect to the Internet only via wifi. My laptop is a
Lenovo ThinkPad T60.

When I type "dhcpcd wlan0" command, the computer wait long time, and not
give me any error messages. The Firefox cannott access to the web. For the
internet connections under Ubuntu I need use password, what I need typing
in Firefox, after Firefox start, but not know, how can I give this password
in GoboLinux with any script, or with in any config file, etc. What I need
now do/make? Can somebody help me?
