Hey, it's far from my wishes to impose you *anything*,
I'm a free mind and an advocate of freedom of choice.
What I say is that the definition of "bloatware" shouldn't
be "something that doesn't suits my needs/likes/wishes"
but rather something that effectively bogs a system
down because it's rather crap-coding, wrong design or
just merely "don't care about the user" attitude.

From what you say then a MacOS or Windows system
should be called bloatware when they are clearly not,
one may or not dislike those systems, one may have a
different approach to implement some of the features they
sports but they certainly aren't bloatware the same way
KDE or GNOME or Xfce or LXDE aren't bloatware at all.

I remember from the time I still worked with Windows
systems that indeed there were a lot of bloatware soft-
ware packages, specially those "Internet Security" pa-
ckages. And they were bloatware because in a fresh
Windows XP/Vista install on a fairly recent hardware
those software packages made the system behaves like
a drunken mammoth. However nowadays the newer ver-
sions of those packages in not-so-new hardware works
great without adding a noticeable impact on the system.

Hence the difference between a "bloatware" and some
other software that my current hardware it's not capable to
run ;-)
