Good for you. Seriously. I did not mean to brag; I merely meant to make the point that I am not an amateur or lacking in experience in this department. I meant what I said. If I had to, say, document a piece of completely new and unfamiliar software, I would expect to spend as long writing it as exploring it. When I wrote a piece on how to set up a Linux machine as a small network server in about 1997, it took me about two months of experimentation and learning and two weeks of writing - for 10,000 words of documentation. To document the process of building that distro from scratch? Conservatively, 6 months' work. I am not a quick writer, but I know of much slower ones, too. -- Liam Proven • Profile: http://lproven.livejournal.com/profile Email: [email protected] • GMail/G+/Twitter/Flickr/Facebook: lproven MSN: [email protected] • Skype/AIM/Yahoo/LinkedIn: liamproven Tel: +44 20-8685-0498 • Cell: +44 7939-087884
