I've worked through LFS twice. Once many years ago, and then again a couple
of months ago. It really is a pains-taking process that has to be automated
if its going to serve as a real base for a distro. I was planning to do
that myself for GotoLinux, but now I am thinking instead to using ArchLinux
as a starting point.
