Sorry for the late answer, but I have finally managed to work on the
reported problems.

We do have a code in the installer to figure if one has a swap partition or
not, and the checkbox to create a new swap file should be enabled only if
no swap partition has been found. Could you please send me the output of
'fdisk -l'?

Thanks, this file helped me quite a lot. We are now able to produce a
correct bootloader config file. These fixes should be available in the next
snapshot.
