Yes, it would. What we currently have in mind is to make a 64-bit only
version. If one needs to run 32-bit apps on top of it, the simplest
thing would be to make a separate 32-bit chroot tree. The whole thing
of mixing 32 and 64 bit code in the same tree is a mess (with some
distros doing /usr/lib64, others /usr/lib/linux-x86-64/, etc.).
