Hi Users, My preferred operating system is the KDE Plasma Desktop on Ubuntu (minimal) and would like to use the same on GoboLinux. It is a metapackage that pulls in core modules released with the KDE Software Compilation, which include the basic KDE Plasma Desktop, a minimal set of applications (web browser, file manager, text editor, system settings, etc.), libraries and data. Package: kde-plasma-desktop Depends: kde-baseapps kde-runtime kde-workspace plasma-desktop udisks2 upower Recommends: kdm xserver-xorg To install the KDE Plasma Desktop on Ubuntu 14.04: Downland an image and burn to CD. (Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr" Minimal CD) Boot CD and select Install. (just answer each question posed) Reboot computer and load software. (sudo apt-get install kde-plasma-desktop) as Konqueror is unnecessary (sudo apt-get install dolphin kde-baseapps-bin kdepasswd kfind konsole kwrite plasma-widget-folderview kde-runtime kde-workspace plasma-desktop udisks upower kdm) However, only the following GoboLinux recipes referring to the above packages were found: KDE-Runtime KDE-Workspace UDisks UPower Xorg Dolphin Konsole Any assistance would be most appreciated. Bye Karl.
