I am just finished with downloading and will have a look at the
documentation now.

So you would see gobolinux more for notebooks or workstations, not for
servers, why is that? Has it more to do how gobolinux works or with missing
server applications which would need to be retrofitted for gobolinux?

That is what needs to be done with any liberary, app/Programm right? You
need to teach those files where to go from now on. It was mentioned that
some files you want to unpack and install, would choose their own paths, so
my guess is, one big part of the goboteams effort is to repackage or
install and then package /built from there. True?
Isn't there a standard which tells people who package these things to leave
out fixated pathes?

Is there an automatic update manager for those programms and liberaries
which have been already installed?

well i start rtfm, especially about these recepies which i have seen now
for many distributions would exist but i have no clue what those are all
about, so i come back later with more questions :)
