Organizing Programs by Vendor

Thoughts on the ides of organizing Programs by vendor? This could be done by simple name, e.g. `Apache/` or perhaps more robustly by domain, ` apache.org/`. I think the idea has merit for a couple of reasons. It creates a nice symmetry between Users and Programs. Also, in some cases it might help avoid names clashes between programs (bin clashes not withstanding, of course).
