writing our own. Hisham had a lot of fun writing boot themes. I don't
reboot my machine often enough, though, so I hardly deal with the boot
driver. I think that both Hisham and I would not oppose to trying Systemd.
The question we had before, for which the answer was "no"  at the time,
was: is it possible to split  Systemd installation / modules into different
prefixes?

works with enterprise network settings involving certificate files. Back in
016 days we spent so much time fiddling with bugs from major network

fat network managers again.

I'd say to go ahead trying to play with Systemd. I wouldn't waste your time
with NetworkManager, though..
