Oh ok, things always tend to be more complicated as they seems at the first 
glance, that's why I wrote that mail ;-).

Well of course hotplug must be working correctly, which it does not atm.
But I was talking of the kde part, that automagically creates device icons on 
the desktop when something is plugged in. Iirc we need an automounter for 
that.

Well I will test that once more, this is a minor issue I think, at least I 
hope so ;-).

Yes of course it should be done our way, this is not necessarily a 
contradiction. It is rather a matter of focus ;-).

This mail was not about you fixing all these things. Unfortunately I don't 
have the time to do that before clt too. You got me addicted to do scripting 
for the livecd, so don't worry. I think you can be proud of that work, we 
should not forget that our livecd, was just born last year. Others are out 
there for more than 3 years, so I don't expect it to be perfect.
