good point. i'll implement the latter.

we don't have a stone module for creating users/groups, etc (yet). i 
personally wouldn't want to have creatuser create a unix account for me. 
though i absolutely agree with the getent solution.

aye.

i'll re-build this target now, check out how the module behaves in general 
install-time, and then will probably come up with a new version.
