I just committed an update of the initrd concept to submaster.

changes include:
- - typobugfix that prevented /etc/conf/kernel to be run from within the
initrd
- - passing of parameters to init
- - correct handling of pseudofilesystem in initrd
- - copy kernel modules to initrd even if already loaded in running system
(this might also be a bug in the current mkinitrd!)

I've also committed a patch for loop-aes that I'm using right now to
encrypt my laptops root filesystem and encrypt the swap area at every
startup with a (hopefully) random key. It takes 128 non-newline bytes
from /dev/random and uses those as passphrase to encrypt the swap device.

Note that both are WIP and likely to change soon.
