Crystal Emu ISO without vi ?

Hi

I've just load the Crystal Emu and install it as server only.
Now I want to configure the system and stone told my the Variable 
$EDITOR is emtpy.
After this I try'ed which vi and  find / -name vi , I found out that no 
vi is install.
Is it a Bug ?
