I'd been thinking about the kernel configuration for sometime, anyways, before I ran into this problem. I'm afraid I don't have much time for blue skies stuff at the moment - all my time is spent maintaining an ever-increasing number of remotely sited Rock based boxes. I've been mulling over using something like expect(1) to interact with make config. I'm glad to see that things are now a lot more elegant than they were in Rock 2.0, where a lot of the kernel configuration setting was done with .patch files, which was what had prompted me to think about alternatives. -- Alan J.
