Hi list.

Our PHP and MySQL packages are incompatible.
In MySQL 4.1.0 the method of storing passwords and authenticating with clients
changed.
The new method is only implemented in PHP 5.
The alternative is to add --old-passwords to mysqld_safe.
(did anyone test the updates?)

Please decide on one solution or the other:
- updating PHP to version 5
- downgrading MySQL to < 4.1.0
- adding --old-passwords to startup script

Greetings,
	blindy
