Well, my poing basically is that I am annoyed of having to build all
those driver packages manually after updating the kernel. I would rather
like to have them built inline.
This would also remove the confusion which drivers are included in the
kernel package and which are not.

Additional drivers may well be seperated then by the split methods.

For the config altering method: As I said on irc this was the way I
found years ago on another package, and just adopted it for bootsplash
and now for this one. I will change to the method you proposed when I
have time.

Ciao

Andreas
