Yesterday, with oldish versions of various packages, "sm create http://www.rocklinux.net/svn/rock-linux/trunk rock" worked fine. I then added a new package (afio), tried to do a "sm commit" and was told that I needed to update my tree to version 3. As per Clifford's instructions on the mailing list from Aug 11th, I did a "sm recreate". This wiped everything in the directories, and errored out. I then made sure I was running the latest versions of: openssl apache swig subversion cpan-svn-mirror cpan-svn-simple cpan-uri-escape submaster and tried to run "sm create" again. This time I got the following errors: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ # rm -r rock rock.sm/; sm create http://www.rocklinux.net/svn/rock-linux/trunk rock Creating local repository ... Committed revision 1. Initial sync with master (may take some time) ... HTTP Path Not Found: REPORT request failed on '/svn/rock-linux/!svn/bc/0/trunk': '/svn/rock-linux/!svn/bc/0/trunk' path not found at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/SVN/Mirror/Ra.pm line 580 Creating local working copy ... Setting up submaster metadata ... Can't get current revision number for file:///work/rock/2.1/rock.sm/SVN/MASTER. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ sm create svn://www.rocklinux.net/rock-linux/trunk rock works fine, though. -- Alan J.
