Hi Florin,

maybe the kernel module is broken for your specific hardware? That does happen 
once in a while. You should try to isolate the error: unless we know whether  
it's in the kernel or in ROCK, there's not much that can be done.
If the bug is kernel related, you may want to try different kernel versions, 
configurations, boot options or mainlines. Tayloring the kernel config to 
your hardware may also help
E.g. the saa7134 module in 2.6.14.2 currently works for my PC only if 
"irqpoll" boot option is used. Some weeks ago it worked only in 2.4 kernels. 
Vice versa, some older 2.4 SMP kernels would not boot on my UP mainboard.
