Hi, Andreas V. Meier wrote: > 2. git (blindcoder?) > [add other suggestions here] > Is git compatible with our patch process? I don't know exactly how much git is optimised für the kernel development process, but I also have sensed our development process simliar to the kernel one, but I don't know it really. If this feeling is true, git would be a possible replacement. But I think we also have to think about why so much patches are in submaster. As I know in the past not only Clifford can add patches to trunk, how this is now regualted I don't know. So there are more people and teh question must be "why no one have time for doing this work? Is this process to time-intensitive? How it can be optimised (perhaps with a submaster replacement)? Do we need new trunk committers?" Statements heavily pleased.
