Please read
http://www.rocklinux.net/lurker/message/20060220.141028.7607a487.html
again and again and again until you understand that the rock-community tree
will never ever solve the fixdiff problem.
If it doesn't help try reading only this paragraph again:
--snip--
It is especially important that one patch (e.g. a simple package update)
can overtake another patch (e.g. an experimental redesign of Build-Target).
And it must be possible to write patches independent of other patches, e.g.
because one patch is an alternative to another one. All that is not or not
easily possible with something like a world-writeable branch..
--snap--
I belive that this rock-community tree will help a lot with some issues.
But if you think just for a second that it will solve the entire problem
complex then this is a very good indicator that you did not even started
understanding the problems we are facing here..
