Crystal and Generic targets are a good choice. Building them and starting some programs on the build hardware will reveal obvious problems. Bootdisk, LiveCD and LVP have boot specific code which we'd have to test-run on a separate machine. The bad (old) news is that building targets with ROCK Linux requires root privileges, while the account is non-root (see the first mail) ... until we have a solution to this problem, there's not much you can do on it ROCK-wise. :( Cheers, Stefan Fiedler > blindcoder@tick > :~$ cat /proc/cpuinfo > processor : 0 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > processor : 1 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > processor : 2 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > processor : 3 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > processor : 4 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > processor : 5 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > processor : 6 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > processor : 7 > cpu : POWER5 (gr) > clock : 1654.344000MHz > revision : 2.1 > > timebase : 207051000 > machine : CHRP IBM,9124-720 > blindcoder@tick:~$ free -m > total used free shared buffers cached > Mem: 5275 5179 95 0 1107 1505 > -/+ buffers/cache: 2567 2708 > Swap: 1906 0 1905 > blindcoder@tick:~$ > > Greetings, > Benjamin > -- > Benjamin 'blindCoder' Schieder > Registered Linux User #289529: http://counter.li.org > finger blindcoder-1k+CIuW/[email protected] | gpg --import
