No. The initrd contains information about encrypted filesystems which can change simply via stone. And the encrypted filesystem configuration can change by itself (from encrypt -> encrypted). I need a sane way to recreate the initrd automatically after that: Boot -> stone -> set filesystems to encrypt -> recreate initrd -> reboot -> encrypt filesystems -> set filesystems to encrypted -> recreate initrd. If you forget the last step then you will be prompted to encrypt your filesysstem again after next reboot --> BAD. Reinstall a kernel twice for that? I think not.
