Hi list. With ROCK 3 coming along nicely and the Roadmap (http://www.rocklinux.org/wiki/Roadmap) containing exciting new features like the new installer, glibc and gcc updates, X.org 7.1 and others that will certainly lead to much discussion, planning, dumping, unearthing, changing, going back to the original proposal, change again and probably restart from scratch fake brought up the idea of having a ROCK Developer Meeting 2006! Unfortunately, we didn't have such an event last year which makes this event even more important and hopefully even more fun. Fake and I agree that this event should be soon, as soon as August or September. At this moment, two locations are available: - Fake can host the event in Wettstetten near Ingolstadt Anytime in August or September http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Wettstetten,+Ingolstadt - Blindy can host the event in Friedrichshain, Berlin A weekend in September, Friday through Sunday http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Frankfurter+Allee+46a,+Berlin&ll=52.509535,13.504944&spn=0.598453,1.73584 If you want to attend (and I'll personally see to anyone who doesn't :) ), please respond with your favorite. It probably won't be a democratic decision, but we'll do what we can.
