I think it's ok. We don't ship a complete KDE with Crystal either, and the 
Crystal ISOs currently exceed the 650 MB size 'limit'.
Less packages also mean less potential security holes, this might be 
especially true for xsm, which uses the insecure rsh by default for remote 
connections.
