I run ROCK Linux on the following PowerPC hardware:

 - IBM RS/6k B50 (PowerPC 604r @ 375Mhz)
 - IBM "Carolina" based Workstation (@ ~100Mhz)
 - Motorola PowerPlus embedded boards (G3 ~366Mhz)
 - iBook2 (G3 @ 800Mhz) (+ various friends using similar ones, too)

so PowerPC is actively worked on and runs well - the only thing that
needs to be done is Apple OldWorld CD boot stuff. The current CD will
not boot on your box I guess. I already scheduled to add this this the
- maybe next week or so (this one is already full).
