Hi Rene et al, It cost me some time to find out that the reason for my build failure of xfree86 is that `xf_config()' in `xf_config.sh' *always* sets `HasExpat' to `YES', which means that it tries to use an extern expat lib. I didn't have that external lib installed, and so it didn't make any sense to me to set it at all, and so was quite a bit stunned. :-) Later then I found the rene/expat package, which probably explains all that and its installation will hopefully fix the build error. But nontheless I think that I faced an issue, because the assumption that rene/expat is installed should not be made. So could you please change `xf_config()' to check whether or not rene/expat is built, and determine the value for HasExpat by the result. -- tcr (tcr\@freebits\.de) ``Ho chresim'eidos uch ho poll'eidos sophos''
