not all packages can be cross-compiled, a massive cross-compile where 
all packages which work are built cross is in the works. in the 
meantime i'd strongly urge you to build on the powerbook, results may 
be frustrating otherwise - i built the ISO on a blue G3 tower with 350 
MHz in about 4 - 5 days.
