Hi, I've a root-server (Opteron-System) with a Debian 32-bit environment and need some help with building a 64-bit ROCK Linux on this host. First I built a cross-compile environment and an own kernel optimized for Athlon64/Opteron and started with this kernel. But changing into the cross-compile environment doesn't work, which haven't surprised me really, because the binaries are 64-bit ELF and my host system has 32-bit libraries. I don't how I continue correctly here. Only to get the point, the next step would be to change into the cross-compile environment and build the the 64-bit native ROCK Linux, or I'm totally wrong here? So can anybody help me? Cheers, Michael
