Hi, Michael Obster schrieb: > hmm. Sure not really. I will have a deeper look into that, because I > think it's a 32-bit kernel :-/. > ok. It's 32-bit kernel. Compiling the kernel results in a bzImage in arch/i386/boot, but arch/x86_64/boot has no bzImage. Where is this switch? I only can set PC-Compatible and the Athlon Opteron but not if the resulting kernel should be a 32-bit or 64-bit in "make menuconfig". Or do I need to compile the kernel in the cross-compile environment? Cheers, Michael
