3c509 Documentation

Hi,
	I'm working on a final project where I'm interfacing an 8051
microcontroller with a 3c509 (ISA) to send/ recieve UDP packets.  I noticed
scyld.com has a linux driver for the 3c509 and I was wondering if any of you
could provide me with some pointers to more technical specifications.  The
stuff of the 3Com website isn't nearly as low-level and I need.
	Also, a quick question in general - and please excuse me if this is a dumb
question.  Does the 3c509 filter out packets that are not addresses to it's
Ethernet Address?  or is the driver responsible for monitoring all incomming
packets and filtering out relevant ones by Ethernet
Address(xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx)?
