Hello I use kernel 2.4.18-3 from redhat 7.3 with a 3com etherlink III isa 3C509 on an Isa port. When I load the module (1.18c 03/01/02) into the system and do a service network start, I can see this in the log file: mter sysctl: net.ipv4.ip_forward = 0 mter sysctl: net.ipv4.conf.default.rp_filter = 1 mter sysctl: kernel.sysrq = 0 mter sysctl: kernel.core_uses_pid = 1 mter network: Setting network parameters: succeeded mter network: Bringing up loopback interface: succeeded mter kernel: eth0: Setting 3c5x9/3c5x9B half-duplex mode if_port: 0, sw_info: 1310 mter kernel: eth0: Setting Rx mode to 1 addresses. mter network: Bringing up interface eth0: succeeded I am confused with the message "Rx mode to 1 addresses". Could you tell me how to solve this problem and is it possible to change the values of the parameters (net.ipv4.ip_forward , kernel.sysrq...) Thanks for your help Jean-Philippe BATTU
