Because I have the same problem ( see my post earlier ), I don't understand where you disable this hperthreading functionality ( maybe it is only for PIV or a DELL server). I have a bi-processor Athlon MP, can I do the same and finally, is that sure our problem comes with this. Thanks ... vincent --- Javier Rodriguez <jlr-slrnY02Ltykg9ELcbhaJlAC/[email protected]> wrote: > > With HyperThreading disabled, I was able to run with > RedHat > kernel-smp-2.4.20-13.9 for 4 days without a problem. > The second server > executing RedHat kernel-2.4.20-13.9 with > HyperThreading disabled has been up > for 6 days. > > Javier > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Javier Rodriguez > Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 10:05 PM > To: [email protected]; [email protected] > Cc: [email protected]; > [email protected] > Subject: RE: kernel: aacraid: Host adapter reset > request.
