Problem with aacraid & Red Hat 7.3

I have a Dell PowerEdge 6450 server with a PERC2 controller. Everything
was working well until this morning, running Red Hat 7.2.

This morning, I upgraded the BIOS to A12, the Embedded controllers
firmware and the PERC2 embedded controller firmware to the latest version
on Dell's web site. I also reinstalled the machine using Red Hat 7.3. The
basic installating worked flawlessly, but after running up2date to upgrade
all the packages (including kernel), the machine refused to boot. It stops
after switching to run level 3. The last message on the screen is:
Unhandled SCSI Command: 0x4d.

I rebooted the system with the previous kernel (linux.bak in LILO) and I
noticed the same 'Unhandled SCSI Command: 0x4d' message, but the sequence
completed and I got the login prompt.

Help, suggestions or pointers would be appreciated.
