Hi,

I got aacraid-util-rh8.0-i386.tar and extracted afaapps-2.7-2.i386.rpm .

Then I got the alien utility and did a
alien --to-deb afaapps-2.7-2.i386.rpm
and got afaapps_2.7-3_i386.deb

Then I installed the afacli package
dpkg -i afaapps_2.7-3_i386.deb

But running afacli said it "couldn't find libartsc.so.0 file".
I installed libarts-dev to get this library.

Now it's UP&Running.

Now I guess I have to create a script in orther to check if mirror is broken
or not.

Thanks a lot.
Gerard.
