Seagate disks and timeouts

I was looking into a timeout problems we had on some of our servers.

I found out there is a firmware upgrade available from Seagate that
fixes some timeout issues with some Seagate Cheetah drives and some
Adaptec raid controllers. The link is to an article describing the
