SCSI error on aacraid device

We have a RAID5 over three discs on a PowerEdge 2550:

The afacli output hasn't changed since this array went into production.
But the kernel log now reports SCSI errors from time to time:

This is /dev/sda12 which is a low priority swap partition and therefore
not used often. Linux kernel is 2.4.20.
Any hints are appreciated.
