Dell 2650 -- Is it happening to me?

We had a hard crash over the weekend of our Dell 2650, running RH 
Enterprise 3. It spewed out a bunch of error messages along the lines 
of:

kernel:  I/O error: dev 08:03, sector 0

 From what I've read, this is related to a buggy aacraid driver. We 
purchased a Dell server and RHEL for it's reliability, and now are 
finding that our central file server is less than reliable. It ran fine 
for 1-2 months, with a very light load...

- Are there any tests (bonnie, seti-/[email protected], etc) that can cause this to 
reproduce itself?
- Are there updated aacraid drivers available? We unpacked the server 
and installed the vanilla RHEL 3.
- Since the crash, I updated to version 3.1. I honestly don't know if 
we were running kernel 2.4.21-4 or 2.4.21-9, but we are running the 
latter now. Would there be any difference?

I'm on hold with Dell's Linux support now. Hopefully someone can 
advise? Otherwise I may have a very expensive door stop.
