I have a Dell poweredge 1650 running kernel 2.4.24 and I wanted to know if the problem described below causes stability issues or just issues when rebooting. If I can reboot fine does that mean this will not affect me or should I upgrade to kernel 2.4.24 or back to 2.4.22?
