at76c503a network stalls after 30-60MB of traffic on MA101B usb wlan

Hi,
I have a Netgear MA101 Rev B wireless usb transceiver plugged into
a Toshiba
laptop running Debian 3r2 (woody). The berlios at76c503 drivers
installed without
a hitch and seemed to be working fine. However, i've noticed that after
somewhere
between 30 and 60 MB of traffic has passed, the interface stops
working. I can
consistently reproduce this by transferring a large file to or from the
system, and
in every case, the file transfer stalls somewhere between 30 and 60 MB,
and
no more network traffic can get through except for an occasional ping
packet.
The network stalls regardless of wether or not WEP is enabled on the
interface,
and the distance between the MA101B and the DLINK base station is
about 3 feet. I have another wireless laptop on the network (using a
PCMCIA
transciever) that works fine throughout the tests on the Toshiba with
the MA101,
so I know that its failing on the MA101 side.
I have tried both the current stable sources from berlios (at76c503a
0.11)
and the latest cvs tarball downloaded on 5 Nov, but the network stalls
using the drivers from either source.
I am at a loss for how to troubleshoot/solve this problem. Any help is
greatly
appreciated. I have attached the output of lsmod, lspci, lsusb,
iwconfig, ifconfig,
/proc/bus/usb/devices, and /proc/bus/usb/drivers to the end of this
message.
Thanks in advance,
