Tekram AirMate U300C and SuSE 9.2

Hi there,

I want to use a Tekram Air Mate U300C with SuSE 9.2.
Configuration with YaST2-GUI works without problems and the driver
is loaded fine. (iwconfig shows the device; configuration with iwconfig 
is posssible)

Nevertheless,
1) on hotplugging the device is not configured. Syslog shows a
"no configuration found for wlan0"
2) Additionally, even when configured with iwconfig manually, a can get 
no acces
to the wlan access point.

While 1) is certainly a SuSE-problem, 2) seems to be more fundamental.

The access point doesn't broadcast its essid and WEP encryption is used.

Maybe some has set up and configured a wireless USB-device with SuSE 9.2
and can report his experience to me?
