With "nm at76_usbdfu.ko | grep usbdfu_download" I get:
[root@localhost at76c503]# nm at76_usbdfu.ko | grep usbdfu_download
9e39ca5a A __crc_usbdfu_download

and with "nm at76c503.ko | grep usbdfu_download" I get:
[root@localhost at76c503]# nm at76c503.ko | grep usbdfu_download
U usbdfu_download
so they look different.
