Thanks, that actually worked out pretty good for me. I'm having another problem now though, and it's mostly because I'm not too familiar with this type of configuration. I can't get an IP from my router. It's set up for DHCP and I'm not sure how to get that going under any Linux. After getting the wlan0 interface, I did: # iwconfig wlan0 channel 1 mode ad-hoc essid "Wireless Connection" # iwconfig wlan0 rts 2304 frag 2304 (cause that's what my RTS and Fragmentation threshold is set to on the router) it did that just fine, but after that I'm completely lost. I have no idea what to do next. I don't think doing "# ifconfig wlan0 IP-addr" is going to help since the router is set for DHCP-only. I did try setting a static IP for this computer, using the correct MAC addr, but when I did did "# ifconfig wlan0 IP-addr" it wouldn't ping anything. I tried running "# dhclient" but that didn't do much. I hope I explained that well.
