I'm here too.  I'm slowly trying to add WPA support (through 
wpa_supplicant), but have not gotten far.  I have made changes that 
allow the driver to parse and return to iwlist the wpa_ie and rsn_ie 
needed for both wpa and wpa2.  But I have not done any work further then 
that.
