Thanks for all ideas.

I have a new fan-less mini-pc format machine (VIA single board mini with Ed=
en 533mhz processor - see spec's at http://www.cappuccinopc.com/lt-5000.asp=
) with CRUX Linux installed (2.6.11 kernel)
The at76c503 driver compiled, installed and can be loaded with modprobe no =
problem, however IWCONFIG does not know of interfaces and the driver will n=
ot load at boot. [I have even patched the Makefile to include the driver in=
 kernel menuconfig and builds]
=20
The wifi "board" is attached to USB J3 by hardwire connector - inspection o=
f the board reveals ATMEL chip but no other manufacturing marks.=20
[I have request in to CappucinoPC.com support for Make, Model and USB id's]
=20
How Can I know that this device is actually working on the USB?=20
Unplug and Re-connect will be a challenge to, but may be an option.
