I had another look into the sources. If you get the error line
	"inconsistent board types 3 != 1"
chances are that you just replaced in at76c503-rfmd.c:
	#include "fw-pkg-rfmd-1.101.0-84.h"
by
	#include "fw-pkg-rfmd-acc-1.101.0-84.h"

This won't work anymore , because the at76c503-rfmd.c also passes its
board type (RFMD) down to at76c503.c, while the firmware has a different
one (RFMD-ACC). This is a preparation for firmware download from user space as
required for including the driver into Linux kernel eventually.

Please move your USB ids - it the cleaner mod.
Guess with your first try you still used the old driver or did you rmmod
them from the kernel after installing the new ones?

Some board ids are missing - I'll clean this up.
