Hi all list,

	I am trying to set up a BENQ AWL400 in my ibook g4. I'm using Linux 2.6 with
benh patchset (other kernels/pachtsets don't work fine). When i plug the
card, metalog tells the following:

Jan 2 17:30:56 [kernel] hub 4-0:1.0: new USB device on port 1, assigned
address 4
Jan 2 17:30:56 [kernel] /usr/src/at76c503a/usbdfu.c: USB Device Firmware

 Anyway, i can change essid, channel, nick... iwconfig parameters; but when i
try to set an static ip i get this error (using dhcp to adquire one fails
too):

americana root # ifconfig wlan0 192.168.232.50
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Bad address

In addition, metalog says:

Jan  2 17:32:44 [kernel] /usr/src/at76c503a/at76c503.c: submit_rx_urb:
dev->read_urb is NULL

 I can see the iface with the ip:

americana root # ifconfig wlan0
wlan0     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:03:9D:4B:71:A7
          inet addr:192.168.232.50  Bcast:192.168.232.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
          BROADCAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 b)  TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)

	But if i try to bring it up:

americana root # ifconfig wlan0 up
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Bad address

 And metalog says the same:

Jan  2 17:35:25 [kernel] /usr/src/at76c503a/at76c503.c: submit_rx_urb:
dev->read_urb is NULL

  I don't know if is a 2.6 compatibility problem or it cames from the big
endian architecture. I'll try using a 2.4 series kernel ASAP and i'll keep
you informed.
